Go Eastward Young Man!

Third time heading to southeast Wisconsin was the charm, and despite a fierce driving rain on Friday night, Jonathon of The Michael Fairchild Band skillfully chauffeured The Lollards to our gig in Brookfield at Original Coffee. With Michael and Jon laying down in the back of the van on top of the equipment, it felt like we were really ON TOUR! A small crowd gathered for the opening set with Jonathon and Michael playing acoustic...and a few friends stuck around for a greatly modified second set by us Lollards (Higher Ground anyone? Sure, why not? Yes sir, you never know what kinda Tom Foolerly The Lollards are gonna whip out at a live show!)

Gary at Original Coffee was fabulous to us...please go support this guy's business because he is working really hard to promote the musicians that he hosts...we look forward to an outdoor show at Original this summer!

This Thursday we're back in Madison at The Local Tavern on King Street (former home of The Flatiron Tavern). We'll start around 9pm-ish and play for an hour. It's free, relatively early, and on an active bus line...so no excuses!
